David Bowie is being characterized as the greatest cultural leader in England's modern history. He was ahead of the Beetles, Elton John, and others as he tried to get out in front of the sexual revolution. He walked the delicate line between decadence and nihilism as well, and then he tipped over. Kevin Swanson also reviews the great heroes and the recent obituaries included in recent Economist magazines. Homeschooled himself in the 1960's and 70's, Kevin Swanson and his wife, Brenda, are now homeschooling their five children.
