We take a look at the increased reports of sexual harassment of women in the workplace, applying some biblical definitions and principles to it. Women (25-54 years of age) participating in the workforce is up from 20% to 74%. Meanwhile, men are disappearing from the workforce, dropping off from 98% to 88% since 1960. Also, 64% of kids are latchkey. These are huge social shifts, and the consequences are obvious. We contrast the Apostle Paul with Gloria Steinem's and Betty Freidan's writings and find a bit of a difference. Then we take a look at history how the family and the family economy were destroyed through socio-economic shifts in the 19th and 20th centuries. We tie in the wisdom provided by Christian theologians from previous centuries, and then we suggest reviving the family economy in the 21st century.
