Recent statements from the pope discourage evangelism among Jews and Muslims. This makes for an interesting historical shift. How does the "church" move from torturing the dissenters and forcing church membership by sheer force, to universal inclusivism? It seems to a shift from tyrant to sycophant. Kevin Swanson points out that the Bible does include several blanket statements, especially in relation to the Lord Jesus Christ. The language is all but inclusive.
