The American Library Association is yanking Laura Ingalls Wilder’s award. . . for all the wrong reasons, of course.  We discuss the sad feminist legacy of Laura Ingalls Wilder and Rose Wilder.  We take a careful look at Little House on the Prairie, a piece of Americana.  It’s hard to make a case for Laura or Pa’s racism.  But, these days the noble savage myth is still gaining ground among the academics  Turns out, the nobles savages were not as noble as they were made out to be.  At the end of the day, everybody needs the Gospel. . .General Sheridan, Laura Ingalls Wilder, and the Native.
