Is a revival of humanist classical education working to destroy home education and Christian education in this country?  A catalog promoting “classical education” announces that “humanism is exactly what is NOT wrong with the modern world and modern education.”   Chrysostom Called the Greek philosophies as worthless as dogs.  Augustine calls Homer “a torrent from hell.”  And Jerome called the Greek poets “The food of the demons.”  Martin Luther referred to Aristotle as a devil from hell. However, the latest fad for post-Christian homeschools seems to be to revive humanist classical education.  Aristotle is the “master of [all] those who know.” “The humanism of the Greeks was remarkable. . “  Who is right in this debate?   This may be the most critical question for modern day Christians.
