We've seen an increase of governmental involvement in our lives over the last hundred years in this country. We discuss the case of a mom from South Carolina who faced child-abandonment charges and had her nine-year-old daughter taken away from her -- for allowing her to go to the park. The government uses cases like these to claim ownership of children, with the assumption that it does all things well. However, we beg to differ, and show how the only way to establish true jurisdictional boundaries is by basing our social, political, and ethical theories on the Word of God. We end on a positive note: There are still folks attempting to do this in the UK.

About Your Host, Kevin Swanson

Homeschooled himself in the 1960's and 70's, Kevin Swanson and his wife, Brenda, are now homeschooling their five children. Since graduating from his homeschool and then serving as student body president of a large west coast university, he has gone on to other leadership positions in corporate management, church, and other non-profits.
