After monitoring political freedom worldwide, the large think tanks Freedom House and Heritage Foundation have to conclude that freedom is disappearing worldwide. In fact, one metric finds a constant downward trend for freedom indexes since 2005. We know why. Freedom doesn't have a chance in the world unless the salt returns somehow, somewhere.
