Is there a place for moral outrage, a love for God and His righteousness? Does it help us to hear these reports of abortion, killing, sexual perversion, etc.? Do we need more rants about how bad things are? The prophets are criticized for their warnings and honest descriptions of the present evil age. But what is the proper reaction? Passivity? Paralysis? Depression? Vigilantism? Agitation? Anxiety? Despair? Political action? More endless harangues and deprecating commentaries on the radio? We resolve this question by urging confidence in God's sovereignty and God's perfect judgment, and the need for repentance and faith in a faithless and perverse generation.

Homeschooled himself in the 1960's and 70's, Kevin Swanson and his wife, Brenda, are now homeschooling their five children. Since graduating from his homeschool and then serving as student body president of a large west coast university, he has gone on to other leadership positions in corporate management, church, and other non-profits.
