Andy Stanley airs his doubts about infallibility and the authority of Scripture, but still wants to hold on to a shred of evidentialism for the Gospel of Luke. The slippery slope of evidential apologetics gives way to full-bore faithlessness in the ongoing apostasy of the West. This gets us back into the basis for truth and the fundamentals of our faith. Why believe God's Word? What is a good basis for believing something is true, especially when it comes to the fundamental questions relating to reality and the purpose of human existence?
